WHAT WE OFFER:
- A free initial screening to indicate whether your child is suitable for our programme.
- An assessment of your child’s needs to inform our teaching programme.
- A detailed daily 15 minute lesson for 6 days each week.
- All instructions and advice for the delivery of each session.
- Most learning is through fun activities.
- Most materials are provided for each lesson-sometimes easily available items may be needed. These will be provided by post or Email for UK students and Email for overseas students
- Reassessment at the end of each six months.
- Support at every stage.
ADVANTAGES
- Most children see a tutor for 1 hour a week. Dyslexics have poor short term memories and difficulties retrieving information. Having daily 15 minute sessions helps to overcome these problems.
- Teaching can take place at your convenience: you don’t have to travel to visit a tutor.
- You and your child can work together in a comfortable and familiar environment: we will help you to see that you are your child’s most natural teacher.
- Much of what you learn as a parent will help you to support your child at school.
- We aim to help you to understand your dyslexic child.
- Many of the materials will be yours to keep.
